Subscribe in the ShowHaven app (billed by Google Play), or on the web by card if there’s no Android phone in the house. Same price, one subscription per family, cancel any time either way.
The trial needs a payment method but charges nothing. It becomes a paid monthly subscription when it ends unless you cancel first, and cancelling during the trial costs you nothing. One trial per family.
Why monthly only
Monthly billing means we have to earn it again every month. That is the right pressure for us to be under — and it means you are never more than one month committed.
If you cancel
Cancel at any time — in Google Play if you subscribed in the app, or from “Manage subscription” on the web if you subscribed by card. There is no minimum term. You keep the paid features until the end of the month you have already paid for, then drop to Free.
Cancelling during a free trial ends it with no charge at all, and the paid features run to the trial’s last day.
Your child keeps a working grid. On Free it shows the first fifteen shows in your order — you choose which fifteen by reordering. Everything else stays safely in your account, visible to you and marked as hidden from the grid, until you resubscribe or remove it. Nothing is deleted.
The lockdown features switch off, and re-subscribing restores your exact settings — not defaults. We will never lock a child out of their device or their shows because a card expired: dropping to Free removes restriction, it never adds any.
If ShowHaven is ever discontinued
A promise we put in writing, because you should never have to wonder:
- 30 days' notice, by email, to everyone with an account.
- Billing stops immediately — no further charges from the moment notice goes out.
- Paid features run to the end of any month already paid for, so there is nothing to refund and nothing cut off mid-cycle.
- The shows you approved keep working on the device afterwards. The grid is stored locally, so it does not need us to be alive.
- We would do our best to leave a free version running rather than switch it off.
Your data, on the way out
You can delete your account and everything in it yourself, from inside the app, without asking us. It is immediate and irreversible. Here is exactly what gets deleted.
